2. How it started?
Mr. Nimrod Rosauro met de founder of GimsGiy for the first time in 2018 and was immediately enthusiastic about the vision. Especially, when he heard the abbreviation of GimsGiy. Which is: the God In Me Sees the God In You! He followed GimsGiy for the last 7 years almost daily.
It began with a question: What if education could truly change lives?
GimsGiy International Academy was founded by Mrs. Ida Rinsampessy, an educator and visionary from the Netherlands, who believes that education should not just inform — it should transform.
After years of working internationally and witnessing the deep disconnection in traditional school systems — between heart and mind, soul and society — she felt the call to create something new.
Something rooted in consciousness, freedom, and sovereignty.
The first seeds were planted in Timor-Leste, where the need for quality, holistic education is urgent — and where the local people showed an incredible openness to this new way of learning.
Now, the mission is expanding: to bring this vision to other places like the Philippines, where inspired teachers, willing communities, and young changemakers are waiting.
The name GimsGiy is a symbol:
A bridge between cultures, a spark of light, a movement of soul-driven learning.
We started small. But our dream is big — and growing.
