At GimsGiy Health Center, we believe that healthcare is a fundamental right, not a privilege. However, in Timor-Leste, access to quality care is limited. Many residents travel to countries such as Singapore and Australia for medical treatment, often paying out-of-pocket due to the lack of a national insurance system and reliable health data.

Our Solution: Telemedic-VC
To bridge this gap, GimsGiy is launching an online Telemedic-VC platform. This allows patients in Timor-Leste to receive medical consultations from doctors and healthcare professionals outside the country via video links. We also offer online courses and further training for local healthcare providers so that they can expand their knowledge and improve the quality of care.

Why This Matters
Telemedicine has been proven to improve access to quality healthcare in countries with limited resources. By using technology, we can transform healthcare in Timor-Leste and ensure that everyone, regardless of location or financial situation, has access to the care they need.
