How it all started
The name GimsGiy is already the name of the GimsGiy company, which started in 2019 in the Netherlands. The founder is Ida Rinsampessy. She is a visionary who dreamed about GimsGiy for the first time in 2016. After 2016 the dream came back in 2018 and 2019. After the third time, Ida thought it was no coincidence. From that moment on she decided to create GimsGiy.
One of the loyal followers of GimsGiy from the very beginning is Mr. Nimrod Rosauro. He has been following GimsGiy closely since 2019, because GimsGiy's vision has always attracted him. In 2024, Ida was approached by Mr. Nimrod Rosauro, a friend who has been following GimsGiy closely for 7 years and said to me: 'This project carries and breathes GimsGiy, Ida!' And he was right! After all, GimsGiy stands for: 'the God in Me Sees the God In You.' After much deliberation, we took the plunge. And now the school (GIS) and the academy (GIA) in East Timor are a fact!
Our Team
GimsGiy International is blessed with a team of 30 volunteers, who all do their utmost to make the school, academy, and health center a success. We couldn't make this happen without volunteers!
